The Cargo Lifter Dome was actually intended as a plant for building
Zeppelins; it currently houses an artificial tropical island.
Netzeitung interviewer: As Head of the cruise line Star Cruises, you’ve
transported customers by ship to real tropical islands. Now you want
your customers to travel by car, train or bus to an artificial tropical
island. Do you see this as the next trend in mass tourism?

Company: I think so..yes. One reason is that
people have less and less time and have to work longer hours. Additionally
the fear of travelling overseas has increased. People feel threatened
everywhere in the world. So if you can experience a real tropical
island, just one or two hours away, then it’s a wonderful opportunity.
